Ahlul Bayt News Agency - On Sunday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that a force from the Badr Brigade militia has managed to repel an ISIS attack in south of Tikrit.
The source informed that “Today, a force from the militia of Badr Organization, backed by a group of Abrams tanks, managed to repel an attack by the ISIS group militants on the western part of Sayed Gharib area, located 90 km south of Tikrit,” pointing out that, “The force destroyed a military vehicle that was carrying militants for the group and killed everyone inside it.”
Badr Shiite Organization, previously known as Badr Brigades, is an Iraqi bloc headed by Hadi al-Amiri.
